Soaking hand wash is recommended: you can scrub but gently and rinse by wringing only gently.
It is also possible to wash silk in the washing machine, as long as you use a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C: if you don't have the specific washing option for silk, you can use the one for wool.
The soap must be neutral and liquid. Leave to air dry: do not use the dryer.
