The "Black Friday" of Sales is the one day in the United States that has become worldwide famous, since the 1960s, for the unrestrained pre-Christmas shopping, and it always celebrated the day after Thanksgiving.
Why is it "black"?
According to some, the expression Black Friday was born in Philadelphia and would refer to traffic on the roads and congestion in stores, which would make the air "black".
Another theory would refer to annotations on the traders books, who traditionally went from red (losses) to black (earnings). Black Friday would indicate a day of big gains for commercial activities. Thousands of Americans are attracted by the discounts, which are valid only this day, up to 80 percent.
In fact, the big chain stores are offering exceptional promotions on this occasion. For this reason, among the people who shop on Black Friday, there are many who often spend the night at the entrance, waiting for the second day store opening so they could enter first and get the best discount.
